A RUSSIAN CURIOSITY SINCE I POSTED TRUMP PROMO OF LLBEAN

I am posting this for the sake of a statistics revelation. Also, I have read that numerous WEEBLY, among others brands of websites of a simple nature, get hits (a viewing) from Russian porn sites.

Since the first day of posting my website, that includes personal essays, poems, and stories, I have been giving daily statistic-readings on who visits my sites (per the name of their websites/country or search locations). My statistics shows a list of the names of my works read, how many pages are read, and how many visitors. I have viewing sites with such names like pizzatycoon which seems fairly tame and innocuous, to the other extreme of porn sites from Russia.

For two essays I have posted, Russian sites and Russian hits piled high and rapidly on my stats sheet: large numbers:

The first essay was on a UFO, photographed around the world many times in the 1960's, and that I saw as a teen. I always believed it to be a military 'vehicle'-- one of the US or Russia's (Or maybe a joint effort) I encouraged anyone to speak up and tell what they know. No one spoke up but the Russian hits numbered high in the stats with that essay.

The second essay was on LL Bean & Trump, very recently posted this January. It did center on one of Russia's favorite boys, the bigly, Mr. Donald Trump. (I think Putin is playing Trump as the fool he is, and Trump thinks he's playing Putin, a man who uses his military like a game all his own. Two wrongs never make a right...and the people all around the world see this game quite clearly.)

For the fun of it, I am going to list the Russian sites that popped up right after I posted the Trump/LL Bean essay just a few days ago. I will not place the dot com or org together, as I do not want their links available directly from my website. If one wants, you can do that on your own. I wonder if there are that many people in Russian porn who are actually that interested in Trump's 'bigly' politics. I find it all intriguing. I apologize if any of these words below are foul, I do not know Russian. My blessing is sent to all of them.

LL BEAN LABELS: CHECK: VIET NAM, JORDAN, ECUADOR...

LL-Bean has contributed to globalization. I think that is a good thing, but Trump and his voters have touted that much more must be MADE IN AMERICA. Have you checked the LL-Bean labels in your closets and dressers? Please, go have a look. Do you find it goes against what you voted for, by now having Trump tell you to buy products NOT made in America? Do you see the hypocrisy?

Jordan, Viet Nam, EL Salvador, Ecuador, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Peru: read LL-Bean labels.

Again, I think it's okay, BUT Trump voters who cry out for Made In America, I need to ask you, are you not pissed off that Trump supports Linda Bean when a majority of her company's products are NOT MADE IN THE USA? I mean you did protest for cars and a/c units to be MADE HERE, right? SO why not clothing?

How is it Trump can tell Americans to run out and buy from LL-Bean when the majority of Linda Bean's company products are made outside the USA? Doesn't that make Mr. Bigly and all of his voters HYPOCRITES? Did the $30,000+ she gave, not come from the money earned in her business where she still sits on her board? (For those with memory: remember her rally and support against LGBTQ citizens of the USA?)

Trump must be thinking of only LL-Bean boots, odd handbags (?) made by LL-Bean in the USA. But let's be clear, not all the material in those boots hails from the USA either. A favorite notion with Bean is using fabric made in the USA to send out of country... they do not think of setting up sewing mills in the depressed economic area of DownEast Maine?! Where is the cry for that support? Where is Senator Angus King calling for such a need within Maine?

People who have jobs in ANY COUNTRY, are paid based on their country's economy. (In my opinion the USA has been inflated for decades)The countries where Bean products are made have a lower scale of living because that is the nature of their economy' unlike the US or Europe. Business who want to make millions leave the USA but return to sell their products here. Yes, just like LL-Bean, car companies, and white goods. Trump told you to hate them when he was on the trail, but now he says to by from them? Do you think that is crazy?

Linda Bean, Trump and many other 1% employ millions around the world. I think that is a good thing because it keeps people in work, earning and surviving.

Trump voters liked his message "It takes jobs out of America" notion. But now, Trump fibs on his campaign promise when he tells you to buy LL-Bean. That is my point in all of this: he lies to get what he wants. To all others, including his voters, be damned.

Trump is telling you to buy Linda Bean's companies products. Doesn't that irk you, and make you wonder a wee bit about his motives in getting your past votes? You are being played. If you listened to some of the confirmations this week in Congress, you can hear it.

Back in the early 1980's I could not go out and buy clothes as I do today, because I simply wanted something in a different color. A blouse would run upwards of $30 to $40. A simple T-Shirt was $20. Clothes were costly before we started globalization.

By the way, LL-Bean is expensive unless you catch sales. (Think of their labels today, and who they employ in the majority. Trump wasn't happy with those labels a few months ago, now he is okay with them?) His voters must wonder if they were played, right?

Senator Angus King does not need to protect Linda Bean or LL-Bean. Trump is doing that for her. Plus, a boycott never lasts, and it seems some of the people are totally believing Trump about Linda Bean's products anyway: that they are all made in the USA. Too funny, and rather sad to take Trump at his word. Wake up to how he played republican voters.

So, I ask Trump voters...knowing where most of 'her' products are made (she is on the board of L-Bean), how do you feel about Trump hailing her company that makes most of her product outside the USA?

Do you feel Trump is being a hypocrite by not telling Linda Bean what he has said to you about other manufacturers going outside the USA, and having products brought back in without 'bigly' taxes?

Business and politicians are one of the same. They ride the same exact rails. I suggest people open their eyes to their hypocrisy and start holding all of these people accountable. As far as bullies... Trump and Linda Bean are at the top of my list. I might even say, a bit tongue-in-check, they are cut from the same cloth. The cloth off the back of the people of many countries.

I watch the face, and listen to hear the final tick of the clock...

I watch their faces: smiling, frowning, some in grace, some longing.

And sights and sounds of celebrations makes me think of when

Going under
And people were in the drink
It sounded like the roar of revelers on a New Year’s Eve standing in the streets
Or a stadium crowd cheering a home-run hit by a beloved player.

We are observers and participants as we continue one emotional tick at a time.
