UFO - I HAVE ADMIRED THIS ONE FOR YEARS

It looks like there are eight objects in the photo, there are only four. I have seen these types of air crafts from directly below. They are two lemon-shaped ellipticals with a roll-bar of sorts that connects the two ellipticals. UFO photographs in this piece of writing are from the internet, and some have been in books on unidentified flying objects. These photos have been around like scattered pieces of a puzzle for decades, from the late 1950's to when I saw it in the early 1960's. I am talking about UFO's now, not aliens. The UFO I saw with a group of my older teenage friends was in the sky over Hudson, New York in the early 60's, prior to 1965.

A group of us were sitting in the empty lot on a weekend night of what was then called The Blue Paint Store. There was about a 12" cement ledge along the side of the building that served as our seating as we looked across the lot to the West side of the Presbyterian Church on Warren and 4th.

Greg was the first one to spot the unidentified flying object (like the ones in these photos) flying East to West over the church's steeple. West of us just four blocks down, the Hudson River ran North to South. We teased him, but yet we started to watch the dark sky above, as the street lights shone in to the parking lot.

Within minutes of Greg seeing the UFO, an identical one (or the same one?) flew from North to South, directly over the lot as we sat near the building. Greg was vindicated by a wildly cheering group of peers. We were exhilarated.

The UFO flew without sound; its' three parts glowed like a bright moon; it had two elliptical sides (nearly lemon-shaped) that were connected by a roll-bar type structure between them. It was one unit. It was astounding, and it was rapid as it passed over head, but not so fast that we could not see the perfect outline of it from directly beneath its' glow. We lost sight of it as it passed overhead of a large garage that still stands today (2014) in that alley behind the church.

It was not more than a few hundred feet above the steeple, and the two elliptical, lemon-shaped forms with the roll-looking bar connecting them appeared to be approximately the size of mini-vans, maybe larger.

We all split up and ran to our parents at home. My mother was at the Moose Hall of the time on Warren Street, just a half block down. It is now called Hudson's Opera House. My mother was upstairs in the hall on this night playing Bingo with hundreds of others. I excitedly told her what we saw, describing it in fine detail. My mother promptly told me to get my butt home... and that was that.

I could not have been more frustrated that I was dismissed as a young teen. I have never let this go. For many years afterwards I drew a picture of what we all saw that night to anyone who would look or listen. Finally, when the internet came to be, I searched at online UFO sights. What we all saw as a group that night was on the internet... there were photos of it flying off the ground and in to the air near one of the Carolina swamps. I recognized it right away. I saw a photo of several of them flying over Sao Paulo, Brazil. I knew it was real but had no idea who made it or who was flying it. I personally think it was the US or USSR government of that time. And these were some of the first drones that were being flown all over the world. Where are the pilots today?

As I aged, it made sense to me that it may have been nuclear powered because there was no sound, it glowed brightly, and the photos seems to place them near water sources. I thought the water would be needed as a cooling agent. I have no idea, really. But at least now, I had photos to look at.

The issue or problem with the photos were that they were all profile shots. I had the fantastic advantage of standing beneath it, thus seeing it directly overhead and low above the city's buildings. It is an important piece of this craft's puzzle, to have had the fortune of seeing it from beneath it's carriage. I had to laugh when I read the professionals call the air craft swamp gas or tricks with electrical lightings. Lies. I had written twice to an author and to a website describing what I am sharing here. They basically gave feigned interest and I never heard back from them with my knowledge and the amazing link of a missing puzzle... the under carriage knowledge of the air craft.

When viewing the profile shots like the one above, if there appears to be eight ellipticals, there are only four (4) because there are two (2) ellipticals per air craft.  They blur and give an illusion of being more crafts. You can note that in the first photo above taken in Salem, MA. I am still trying to relocate the photo over Sao Paulo which looks near identical in formation. I found that photo years ago online but oddly, I cannot locate it now, nor the photo from the 60's rising off the ground near a Carolina swamp. It was not swamp gas but this air craft I had seen with my friends. If someone reading this does locate either of these, please post them.  


Here are a few more photos of the exact same air craft (UFO) that I saw from directly beneath. My hope is that the government will one day share this amazing craft of the 50's and 60's with the public. I have been waiting for that reveal for approximately 51 years!

The last photo is of me, the author of this site, as an adult in the same spot where I saw the UFO in the 60's. I am looking North out of the direction it came, it flew to my right and we lost sight of it over the alley behind the church. (I am facing the side of the church across the lot). The rather poor drawing is my view from beneath the air craft. An artist I am not, but you get the idea... and a piece of the missing puzzle on the real design and shape.
