*From 1881 to 1886 Heinrich Sierichs formed a partnership with a Mr. A.D. Buschman to embark in the wholesale liquor business. ( SEE: A History of Long Island (NY) From Its Earliest Settlement to the Present Time by Peter Ross. Google Books.) Heinrich was already in a trademark business by 1875, see note below) Also in this book: Mr. A.D. Buschman owned controlling interests of the Golden Horn Brewing Co. of Fort Hamilton, Long Island, NY, and in 1890 he bought much real estate of Coney Island and became a prominent wholesale liquor dealer on Coney Island. A.D. Buschman was born in Hanover, Germany, and he was in NY public schools by 1868, and by 1873 he worked as a boy in a real estate office. By 1881 he joined Sierichs. A.D. Buschman became one of the wealthiest men on Long Island, NY.

*In 1894 Heinrich Sierichs was already a hotel owner. He applied for a saloon/liquor license in Rockaway Beach, NY. Noted May 10, 1895 in the newspaper SouthSide Observer, Rockville Center. NY. FultonCountyHistory newspaper archives.
*Heinrich (Henry) Sierichs & Co., as stated in numerous newspapers advertisements at FultonCountyHistory newspaper archives, from the early 1900's onward, was a 'Bottlers and Exporters of Lager Beer; H.S. & Co.; Trademark established 1875 of 3 capped lager bottles. Milwaukee, St. Louis and Canada Malt Beers a specialty. Also notedas Bottlers and Exporters of George Ehrets, Piel Bros., Schlitz'; Milwaukee Lager beers. His company imported Bass Ales and Improved Mineral Waters. (Holland Station, Rockaway Beach, Long Island)
On a personal note: I have enjoyed drinking both a Piel's and a Schlitz' beer along the way in my life.
